Guidance here about planning permission, conservation areas, Article 4 directions or building regulations is general information, not a determination. Whether a particular rule applies to your property is a matter for the relevant local authority, and you should confirm it with them before committing to work. This website does not offer prices and nothing on it is a quotation or an offer to contract. Any price we give you is set out separately in writing, applies to the specific work described in it, and is subject to our own terms of business, which we provide with the quotation.

The 20 year written guarantee described on this site is issued as a separate written document when a job is completed. That document, not this website, sets out the terms of the guarantee.

Where we link to other websites — council pages, the Met Office, Historic England and similar — we do so because they are the source of something we have said. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
